Less than 24 hours ahead of the NFL’s tampering window, the Tennessee Titans are apparently not interested in New England Patriot quarterback Tom Brady, a pending free agent, according to ESPN’s Dianna Rusini. Mike Vrabel and the Titans are working hard to finalize an extension for quarterback Ryan Tannehill, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Tannehill led the team to the AFC title game, where they lost to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Tannehill is likely due an enormous contract after his hot streak helped turn the listing Titans into a playoff contender. He finished the season with a 70.2 completion percentage, 2,742 passing yards, 22 touchdowns and six interceptions in 12 games and 10 starts.
As @diannaESPN alluded to, Titans and Ryan Tannehill are now on the verge of a new multi-year extension that would prevent Tennessee from using its franchise tag on the quarterback and keep him as the team’s starter moving forward, per sources.

Brady is set to enter free agency for the first time in his career. He and the Patriots can negotiate an extension at any time before the league year begins on March 18 at 4 p.m. On March 16, he will be free to begin negotiations with any NFL team.
