The Boston Globe’s Adam Himmelsbach relates that “Boston is expected to use its $28.5 million trade exception that was created in the Gordon Hayward sign-and-trade” to land Fournier .
The trade is “not expected to be part of a larger deal involving Magic forward Aaron Gordon, who is expected to be one of the prizes of this trade market.
And with news from the Athletic’s Shams Charania that the Denver Nuggets will be trading for the Californian, it seems that option is extinguished
