Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was released from a Dallas area hospital after a minor car accident Wednesday evening. He returned home, according to reports, with team executive vice president Stephen Jones offering a brief confirmation that the injuries sustained by his father in the crash were not serious.
“He is all good,” Stephen told the Dallas Morning News.
The crash happened about 8 p.m. near Harry Hines Boulevard and Wolf Street. Jones was taken to Parkland Hospital, about two miles away, “as a precautionary measure.”
He was reportedly released shortly thereafter.

The exact nature of the accident has not been made public, although the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that two vehicles were involved, as per Dallas police.
Whether the 79-year-old Jones was behind the wheel is not yet known.
