Former Jacksonville Jaguars safety Donovin Darius, unfortunately, found himself in trouble with the law Sunday afternoon. According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Darius was arrested for driving under the influence and was admitted into the Duval County Jail approximately around 2:45 p.m.
Per Mike DiRocco of ESPN, Darius ingested “numerous pills” before the arrest, which resulted in him having to be taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation. DiRocco added that Darius had slurred speech and wasn’t able to stand on his own, according to his source.
