According to report from Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network, Alabama quarterback, defending Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young, will be out on Saturday as the Aggies travel to Tuscaloosa to take on the Crimson Tide.
Young, suffered a shoulder injury to his throwing arm in the Tide’s win over Arkansas, and was replaced in the game by Sophomore Jalen Milroe, who is now set to start in prime time against Texas A&M.
The game many have had circled on their calendars since the Aggies managed to upset Bama at Kyle Field last year, has now become a battle of backup quarterbacks as A&M’s starter Max Johnson will also miss the game due to an injury suffered last week.
The Tide are still an extremely talented team, that did not struggle to score points against Arkansas with Milroe under center, but an A&M team dealing with quite a few injuries of their own will be glad to not see No. 9 this week.
