Reporters spotted Joe Burrow, Zac Taylor going to coaches offices after MNF loss

Why didn’t Joe Burrow and Zac Taylor go to the locker room after the loss?

The walk of shame for the Cincinnati Bengals after the stunning home loss in primetime to the Washington Commanders got a little weird.

Normally, the players just go back to the locker room and that’s the end of it.

But reporters noticed something strange on Monday night — Joe Burrow and Zac Taylor walked to the back and didn’t go to the locker room, instead opting for the coaching offices.

In his postgame presser, Burrow said the duo merely went there for a positive, private conversation. But still it was strange enough to get recorded, then brought up to the people involved.

And it smacks a little stranger than it might normally, too, considering Burrow just threw for three scores and the offense didn’t punt while scoring 33 points…only for the defense to cough up 38 points to a rookie quarterback with no punts for the visitors.

Now 0-3 and facing historically stunning, terrible odds at making the playoffs, this whole thing was at least interesting.
