After playing a handful of games with a thin depth chart due to the league’s health and safety protocol, the Golden State Warriors could be getting some much-needed help back on the court.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Warriors guard Jordan Poole has cleared the league’s health and safety protocols and has returned to the Bay Area.
Poole has missed the last five games for the Warriors due to the league’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

Despite Poole’s reported clearance, the Warriors are still missing four players in the league’s health and safety protocol, including two key starters. With Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, Moses Moody and Damion Lee still out, Poole’s return will provide a boost of scoring the Warriors’ offense could use.
In his third season, Poole is averaging 17.9 points on 44.2% shooting from the floor with 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 30.7 minutes per game. In addition, the Michigan Wolverines product has been shooting 33.8% from long distance on 7.8 attempts per game.
Before landing in the league’s health and safety protocol, Poole tallied 19 or more points in three of his last four games. Poole has notched at least double-figures in scoring in 12 of his previous 13 games.
The Warriros are set to meet Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
