Earlier this offseason, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that 28 NFL teams, including the Vikings, will be required to begin training camp on July 28.
A new report from the Athletic’s Chad Graff shows that the Vikings are still expected to do just that. Graff also reported that Vikings rookies and quarterbacks are expected to show up July 23.
The team has already announced that fans will not be able to attend training camp this year. Teams have had to adjust during an unconventional offseason amid the coronavirus pandemic.
For instance, the NFL preseason has been cut to two games, and The NFL Players Association has called for the entire preseason schedule to get canceled, according to a report from Dan Graziano of ESPN.
As it stands, NFL team’s first preseason game will be played Aug. 20-24 and the second one will be the next week. Every team gets one home and one away game.
