During the 2021 offseason, the Golden State Warriors have been linked to a flurry of veteran free agents. The Warriors were reportedly one of the teams showing interest in veteran free agent Paul Millsap.
Instead of landing in the Bay Area, the former Denver Nuggets forward will reportedly team up with Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Millsap has agreed to a deal with the Nets. Millsap will join Blake Griffin, LaMarcus Aldridge, Patty Mills and rookie Cam Thomas as some of Brooklyn’s offseason additions.

During the 2020-21 campaign, Millsap played 56 games, averaging nine points on 47.6% shooting from the floor with 4.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 20.8 minutes per contest.
As the Warriors attempt to build for a run back to the postseason, Bob Myers and Steve Kerr have inked contracts to veteran free agents, including Otto Porter Jr., Nemanja Bjelica and Andre Iguodala.
