While the departure of Bob Myers is still making headlines, the Golden State Warriors remaining front office will quickly have to turn their attention back to the upcoming NBA Draft.

With the NBA Draft less than a month away, different prospects are making their way through the Bay Area for pre-draft workouts. The latest potential draft pick to work out for the Warriors is UCLA Bruin hero, Jaime Jaquez Jr.

According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Jaquez worked out for the Warriors on Tuesday.

During his fourth season in Westwood, the do-it-all forward averaged 17.8 points on 48.1% shooting from the field to go along with 8.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in 33.2 minutes per game.

The 22-year-old was a consensus second-team All-American in 2023 along with being named the Pac-12 Player of the Year. Jaquez Jr. averaged double-figure scoring numbers in three of his four seasons at UCLA.

In Cody Taylor’s lates mock draft for Rookie Wire, Jaquez Jr. came off the board at No. 28 to the Utah Jazz.

Via Rookie Wire:

Jaquez is another player that helped himself this week at the draft combine. He registered a 39-inch max vertical jump, which ranked seventh, and was third in standing vertical jump at 34.5 inches. He isn’t necessarily a player many would consider one of the most athletic players in the draft, but Jaquez has that ability. He has a tremendous ability to score and can also make an impact on the defensive side of the ball. He has shot up draft boards and appears to be a potential late first-rounder.

The NBA Draft is set for June 22 in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center.
