With the Tennessee Titans very thin at the cornerback position due to injury, the team is bringing in a familiar face to help fill the void.
According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the Titans are set to sign cornerback Greg Mabin off the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad to their active roster.
Mabin has spent multiple stints on the Titans’ practice squad since 2020. He was last with the team prior to the 2021 season before being placed on Injured Reserve and later getting cut.
The move comes on the heels of the Titans placing both cornerbacks Kristian Fulton and Caleb Farley on IR. Like Farley, fellow corner Chris Jackson also sustained an injury during the Week 6 win over the Buffalo Bills. Farley has been ruled out for the year after suffering a torn ACL.
With Mabin, the Titans now have four cornerbacks on their roster in Jackson, Janoris Jenkins, Elijah Molden and Breon Borders. The team also has two more on their practice squad in Chris Jones and Briean Boddy-Calhoun.
