Report: Titans TE Briley Moore suffered torn ACL

It’s an unfortunate end to Briley Moore’s first season in the NFL.

The rookie campaign of 2021 undrafted free agent, Tennessee Titans tight end Briley Moore, is reportedly over before it had a chance to get off the ground.

According to Justin Melo of Broadway Sports Media, Moore, who was carted off from practice on Saturday with a left knee injury, tore his ACL, which will knock him out of the 2021 campaign.

The Kansas State product was vying for a depth role at the position behind fellow tight ends Anthony Firkser and Geoff Swaim in training camp.

We were high on Moore and listed him as one of the Titans’ undrafted free agents with the best chance to make the roster earlier this offseason. The UDFA’s Relative Athletic Score (RAS) was the third-best among all tight ends in this year’s draft class.

With Moore out, the Titans’ competition for the No. 3 and No. 4 spots on the depth chart is down to Tommy Hudson, Jared Pinkney, Miller Forristall and Luke Stocker. We consider Hudson the favorite for one of those spots.
