After waiving him just a few days ago, the Tennessee Titans are bringing back 2023 undrafted free agent and linebacker, Otis Reese.
According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, the Titans are re-signing Reese to the practice squad. He was waived on Saturday when the Titans promoted wide receiver Mason Kinsey and linebacker Chance Campbell.
His return to the Titans is no surprise.
Reese was a favorite of head coach Mike Vrabel during training camp and the preseason, and the Ole Miss product eventually earned his way on to the initial 53-man roster, which was one of the bigger surprises.
“I cannot wait to watch O-T-I-S in that preseason game and playing fast,” Vrabel said in August. “When he triggers — he triggered yesterday in the bubble and came through — there’s a level of play speed that when he is sure of where he’s going, is pretty cool.”
The 25-year-old played in each of the first two games of the season, seeing 32 special teams snaps. He recorded one tackle.
