Report: Titans RG Nate Davis’ injury ‘is not serious’

Nate Davis’ injury doesn’t appear to be serious.

There was quite a scare when news broke that Tennessee Titans right guard Nate Davis had to be carted off the field with an apparent leg injury, but it appears that it might not be serious after all.

According to Terry McCormick of Titan Insider, Davis was carted off the field as a result of cramps.

Outside linebacker Derick Roberson was taken off the field with what appeared to be a right leg injury that apparently happened in a pass rush drill. Also, right guard Nate Davis was carted in late with what appeared to be a left leg injury, though according to a source, his injury was only a cramp is not serious.

Erik Bacharach of the Tennessean has confirmed McCormick’s report.

This is obviously great news for the Titans, as Davis is the team’s starter at right guard going into 2020 and has high expectations after he finished his rookie campaign strong.

As McCormick also noted, outside linebacker Derick Roberson was also carted off the field with an apparent leg injury.

Unfortunately, we don’t have an updated information on his status but he’s certainly worth monitoring moving forward, especially with all the question marks Tennessee has at the position right now.
