Report: Titans making ‘a lot of calls’ about trading up to top 6 in draft

The Titans have reportedly made “a lot of calls” about moving up into the top six of the 2023 NFL draft.

The Tennessee Titans are reportedly exploring their options in terms of trading up into the top six of the 2023 NFL draft.

According to The Athletic’s Dane Brugler, who was a guest on “The Audible” podcast, hosted by Sigmund Bloom of Footballguys.com, the Titans have made a lot of calls about moving up to the top six.

Tennessee’s interest in moving up comes as absolutely zero surprise considering their need at the quarterback position.

It’s also not surprising because teams are exploring literally every avenue in the draft, whether that be trading up, down, or sticking and picking in their respective spots.

As I’ve said all along, the only way the Titans trade up for a quarterback is if either Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud fall — and, based on recent Stroud slander out there, that looks to be more and more possible.

The sweet spot figures to be No. 3 overall, a pick owned by former Titans exec and current Arizona Cardinals general manager, Monti Ossenfort. If Stroud falls there, the Titans should definitely make a move.
