Report: Titans inform Dion Lewis of plans to release him

The Titans have reportedly informed running back Dion Lewis that he’ll be released, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Lewis was set to make $5.1 million in 2020, but cutting him will save the Titans $4 million towards their 2020 salary cap.
The 29-year-old signed a four-year, $19.8 million contract with the Titans in March of 2018. In 32 games with Tennessee, Lewis registered 293 touches for 1,290 scrimmage yards and 3 touchdowns
