The #Redskins have received calls from teams about potentially trading up to No. 2. But they’ve made a decision, and sources say no trade. They are making the pick… because they love the player who will be there for them.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Washington Redskins will not be trading away the No. 2 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft on Thursday night and instead will use it to draft a player, who is expected to be Ohio State defensive end Chase Young.
This has been the expected outcome for weeks, if not months now, but this report from Rapoport seems to seal the deal. In a matter of hours, Young will be a member of the Redskins.
It was reported earlier that the Atlanta Falcons were one of the teams who reached out to the Redskins in order to potentially trade up to No. 2, but the Redskins didn’t have much interest in moving down. They want Young, and they’re going to take him.
