Report: The Patriots will host Tom Brady, the Buccaneers in Week 4

Round 1.

The New England Patriots will host Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4 on Sunday night of the 2021 season, per Bleacher Report’s Master Tesfatsion. It will be Brady’s first game against Belichick. It will also be Brady’s first game as an opponent at Gillette Stadium.

And in a wild scenario to consider, Brady could set a new record as the all-time passing leader at Gillette Stadium if he averages 288.5 passing yards per game through Week 4. (Brady currently trails Drew Brees by 1,154 yards in that category.) That would simply be a wild — and upside down — milestone for Brady at Gillette Stadium against the Patriots.

Brady left New England as a free agent in 2020, with an announcement he’d test the market before the signing window opened. He then joined the Buccaneers, who aggressively targeted free agents to build around the quarterback. They won Super Bowl LV last season with Brady notching his seventh Super Bowl win.
