Texas wide receiver Jaden Alexis has entered his name into the transfer portal, according to a report from On3 Sports.
The former four-star prospect from the class of 2021 did not catch a pass in his two seasons as a Longhorn. Alexis was hindered by a torn ACL ahead of his freshman campaign. The speedy wideout will have three years of eligibility at his next school.
Alexis joins a handful of other Longhorns who entered the transfer portal this week. Wide receiver Brenen Thompson, along with linebackers Derrick Brown and Trevell Johnson are all looking for new homes.
The end of spring practice usually brings a new wave of players entering the transfer portal all over the country. Players begin to see where they stand on the depth chart and start exploring other options.
