The Jacksonville Jaguars locked new starting left tackle Walker Little in with the franchise for the foreseeable future hours before facing the Houston Texans on Sunday, reportedly signing the fourth-year pro to a three-year contract extension worth $45 million.
In a breakdown of the contract released Wednesday, however, Over the Cap assessed Little’s deal is worth $40.5 million in total value.
The deal includes $25.944 million in fully guaranteed salary, with $25.5 million in new guarantees to pair with $444,256 guaranteed on the final season of Little’s rookie contract this year.
Little’s 2024 salary cap number increased by $1.5 million, to $3,925,087, as part of the extension.
Little’s pay bump makes him the 14th-highest-paid left tackle in the NFL in average annual value, per Over the Cap. He ranks No. 15 at his position in total guaranteed money.

Jacksonville selected Little with the No. 45 overall pick in the second round of the 2021 NFL draft.
Little primarily operated as the Jaguars’ swing backup offensive tackle over his first three years with the club, before succeeding Cam Robinson as its starting left tackle in Week 8 of this season. Robinson was traded to the Minnesota Vikings on Oct. 29.
Little has appeared in 52 games with the Jaguars and made 22 starts on Jacksonville’s offensive line.
