Though the All-Star weekend format will look a little different this year, as all of the festivities will take place in one night, you’ll notice some familiar faces participating in the 3-Point Contest.
Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports reported that Golden State Warriors All-Star Steph Curry is expected to participate in the 3-Point Contest prior to the All-Star Game on Sunday.
Curry joins Portland Trail Blazers All-Star Damian Lillard as the only other announced participant. Haynes also stated that the contest will likely be comprised of mostly All-Stars, as Curry will make his 7th All-Star appearance.
A six-time participant in the 3-Point Contest, Curry has won the shootout only once, back in 2014-15. Fellow Warrior Klay Thompson won the 3-Point Contest the following year in 2015-16.
