After dropping a close game to the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night, the Warriors will be without two stars for the second night of a back-to-back in Phoenix.
Steph Curry, who is set to play in the NBA All-Star game this weekend and will compete in the 3-point contest, and Draymond Green will not play against the Suns on Thursday night, according to The Athletic’s Anthony Slater. Both players will not be with the team, and did not travel to Phoenix following Wednesday’s game in Portland.
For Curry, it will be just the second regular-season game he’s missed this season. The Warriors and Suns will tip off at 7 p.m. PT on NBC Sports Bay Area and Fox Sports Arizona.
Sources: Draymond Green and Steph Curry will not play against the Suns tonight. Neither made the trip to Phoenix. Rest for Curry, recovery day for Green’s sore ankle ahead of All-Star break.
