According to a report by NFL reporter Albert Breer, current Pittsburgh Steelers wide receivers coach Ike Hilliard is interviewing for the position of offensive coordinator with the Detroit Lions.

Hilliard became the Steelers wide receivers coach last season after spending the previous six seasons in the same role with the Washington Football Team. Hilliard is a former first-round pick of the New York Giants back in 1997.

The Steelers are in the midst of a significant turnover among their coaches and personnel. Hilliard did a nice job with the receivers in 2020 but it is hard to really judge the performance of any of the Steelers position coaches on offense with Randy Fichtner running the offense.
