According to ESPN NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler, Pittsburgh Steelers guard Kevin Dotson will miss multiple games with the ankle injury he suffered in last week’s game against the Detroit Lions. Dotson had to be carted off and was quickly listed as OUT for the remainder of the contest.

Dotson had been the team’s best offensive lineman this season after starting training camp as a backup. When Dotson went out on Sunday, the team was forced to go with J.C. Hassenauer at left guard. Hassenauer’s natural position is center but an injury to B.J. Finney forced the move. With all these injuries the Steelers may need to delve into free agency to help bolster depth on the interior offensive line.
