King appeared in 10 games with the Detroit Pistons during the 2019-20 season and 16 games over the past two seasons with the Sacramento Kings. He has career averages of 4.2 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 26 games.
The addition of King will give the Sixers another guard capable of scoring when needed. King will still spend the majority of the season in the G League with Delaware but can provide the Sixers with more depth in the backcourt.
