The COVID-19 pandemic has been a massive concern when it comes to sports trying to start up. Now comes a report several Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans players have tested positive for the coronavirus.
Teams can’t reveal the names of players who have tested positive due to HIPAA and the Texas Medical Records Privacy Act.
However, the agent for Dallas star Ezekiel Elliott told NFL.com Insider Ian Rapoport the running back is one of the players.
Several #Cowboys players & several #Texans players have tested positive for COVID-19 recently, sources tell me & @TomPelissero. None of the players are believed to have been in their team facilities. The teams followed proper health protocols.
