Trent Williams agent has said an NFC team is interested, believed to be 49ers – per sources. Makes sense. Kyle Shanahan was w/ the Redskins when Trent was drafted, Joe Staley is 35, want to win now. No deal has been made. Also, does not appear MINN has any interest at this time.

One of the mystery teams who were reportedly interested in trading for Washington Redskins left tackle Trent Williams may have just been uncovered by the player’s agent Vincent Taylor.
According to NBC Sports Washington’s Julie Donaldson, Taylor said that the San Francisco 49ers are interested in trading for Williams, which makes sense, as head coach Kyle Shanahan spent several years coaching Williams in Washington before he was fired.
The 49ers currently have Joe Staley starting at the LT position, but Williams offers a significant upgrade over the 35-year-old.
There is not yet a reported deal on the table, but the 49ers are now a name to keep in mind.
