Former NBA G League Ignite guard Daishen Nix will reportedly sign an Exhibit 10 contract with the Houston Rockets, according to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.
Nix, who went undrafted last month, will join former Ignite teammate Jalen Green on the Rockets for training camp. He will likely be cut after training camp and then funneled to the Rockets’ G League affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
The former five-star prospect played with the Philadelphia 76ers in the Las Vegas Summer League. He averaged 5.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 steals on 56.3% shooting from the field in five games played with the Sixers.

Nix played last season with the Ignite in their inaugural season, posting 8.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and one steal in 15 games. He recorded his best game of the truncated season on Feb. 13 with 25 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
He will now have the opportunity to appear with Houston in training camp and then continue his development in the G League. He has been highly touted as a great facilitator and could continue to grow next season in the Rockets’ system.
