Report: Rams showed interest in Joe Haden this offseason

This past offseason, the Rams were among the teams that showed interest in Joe Haden

The Rams didn’t hide their need for cornerback help this offseason after losing Darious Williams in free agency. They traded for Troy Hill and drafted both Cobie Durant and Derion Kendrick, adding some much-needed reinforcements in the secondary.

They also showed interest in veteran corner Joe Haden, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. Haden, who is retiring from the NFL, planned to play a 13th season in 2022 and the Rams were among the teams that showed interest. But after no deal came together, he remained a free agent and has decided to retire.

Haden last played for the Steelers from 2017-2021, making the Pro Bowl once in that span. He originally came into the NFL as the seventh overall pick in 2010 and spent seven years with the Browns, earning two Pro Bowl nods.
