The Raiders have made a bunch of moves this offseason with almost all of them coming on the defensive side of the ball. However, the one spot the team has failed to address is at wide receiver.
The expectation is that the team will use one of their two first-round picks to grab a top-flight receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft. But could the Raiders think about potentially adding more depth to the position?
According to Jeff Howe of The Athletic, the Rams are now open to trading Brandin Cooks as they continue to cut salary. Cooks is just 26-years old, but he already has four seasons of at least 1,000 receiving yards, three of which came on different teams.
Aside from Todd Gurley, the Rams have also made Brandin Cooks available in a trade as they attempt to trim salary and restock their draft picks, per source.

It likely wouldn’t take a lot to acquire Cooks and with the Raiders having three third-round picks, one of those selections would likely be enough. But do they have an interest in bringing in another receiver with a big contract?
Cooks does a lot of the same things as Tyrell Williams, but only at a higher level. Adding someone like Cooks to this offense, along with a Jerry Jeudy or CeeDee Lamb could drastically improve the depth and talent at the position. And with the Raiders already addressing several of their biggest needs on defense, it’s something the team should at least consider.
