Report: Puka Nacua week-to-week after aggravating knee injury from summer

Puka Nacua is considered week-to-week after aggravating the knee injury that caused him to miss time this summer

The Los Angeles Rams played it safe with their star receiver Puka Nacua this summer after he suffered a knee injury in practice, giving him ample time to return to full health before putting him back on the field. Unfortunately, it still didn’t prevent him from getting hurt again.

Nacua left Sunday night’s game with an injury suffered to the same knee that he hurt in practice early in August. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Nacua is considered week-to-week after aggravating the injury on Sunday night.

The original issue with his knee was a burst bursa sac and it caused him to about three weeks of training camp before returning to practice on Aug. 26. It’s unclear exactly how long he’ll be out, as Schefter said he’ll undergo further testing.

If Nacua does miss time, Tyler Johnson will likely see an increase in playing time, just as he did on Sunday night when he caught five passes for 79 yards, including a 63-yarder.
