The New England Patriots will place 2019 third-round pick and offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste on injured reserve, as first reported by ESPN’s Mike Reiss. Cajuste had missed two consecutive practices since going on injured reserve. The injury is not considered season-ending. He could return in 2020.
Per NFL rules, Cajuste cannot return from IR until after Week 3. Each team can bring back three players from IR in 2020, and New England has placed two other players on IR with return eligibility: defensive tackle Beau Allen and running back Damien Harris.
Cajuste missed all of the 2019 season with an injury, as he was on IR.
The Patriots plan to place OT Yodny Cajuste on injured reserve. Cajuste would be eligible to return after three games. He's missed the last two practices with a knee injury.

He’ll leave behind a tackle group which includes Isaiah Wynn, Jermaine Eluemunor, Justin Herron and Korey Cunningham.
