Report: Patriots college scouting director Monti Ossenfort joining Titans

Tennessee has become a landing spot for several affiliated with the Patriots.

The Tennessee Titans have seen no shortage of moving and shaking as one of the NFL’s weirdest offseasons continues to progress.

One of the latest moves the team has made is bringing on former New England Patriots college scouting director Monti Ossenfort on as the director of player personnel, according to The MMQB’s Albert Breer.

There was some speculation that Ossenfort, who interviewed for the general manager position with the Cleveland Browns, would leave the Patriots this offseason.

Breer said on Monday morning that Ossenfort could be departing “in the coming weeks,” but it seems like the process of him leaving New England was already in the works.
Ossenfort will join general manager Jon Robinson and head coach Mike Vrabel and cornerback Malcolm Butler — all names with Patriots affiliation — in Tennessee.
