Report: Patriots adding Rams offensive assistant Jedd Fisch

Fisch has bounced around the NFL.

The New England Patriots added another member to their coaching staff by hiring Jedd Fisch, according to The Boston Globe’s Jim McBride.

Fisch has no shortage of NFL experience. He has worked on six NFL teams, most recently working on the offensive side of the ball for the Los Angeles Rams, where he was a senior offensive assistant in 2018 and an assistant offensive coordinator in 2019. L.A.’s offense, of course, took off in 2018 when they made the Super Bowl, but regressed tremendously in 2019. He has also worked as a receivers and quarterbacks coach during his career.

New England has a few vacancies on their staff after the departures of Joe Judge (special teams coordinator, receiver) and Bret Bielema (defensive line), who both went to New York.

It’s unclear what position Fisch will take for New England.
