Former Florida State Seminoles forward Patrick Williams has reportedly had a tremendous pre-draft process and could be selected as high as the No. 4 overall pick, according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN.

The 19-year-old has seen his draft stock rise from just outside of the lottery to a potential top-five pick. He is widely projected to be drafted in the 6-12 range but could go even higher than initially thought following his stellar pre-draft process.

Williams — a 6-foot-8 wing out of Florida State — is the big winner of the pre-draft process thus far. He has boosted his stock from outside the lottery at the conclusion of the college season to getting looks as high as the No. 4 pick, sources say.

Williams was named the ACC Sixth Man of the Year last season after averaging 9.2 points, four rebounds, one block, one assist and one steal per game. He has a versatile offensive game and boasts the size and strength that teams covet on defense.

The Detroit Pistons are said to be highly interested in taking him with the seventh overall pick but they could be a candidate to trade up and target LaMelo Ball. However, if they standpat, Detroit could be a potential landing spot for Williams.
