The Panthers will be hiring former Baylor head coach Matt Rhule as their next head coach, via Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports.

The Panthers were scheduled to meet with Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski on Thursday to fill that vacancy. It appears Stefanski will have the block cleared from his schedule.
Stefanski is still in the running for the Cleveland Browns’ vacancy at head coach. That interview could be on Thursday. We’ll update you when reports come through.
