One of the top members of the Oregon Ducks analyst staff is heading on to take a new job at a higher level, with a report on Monday morning coming from ESPN’s Pete Thamel that offensive analyst Jordan Salkin is expected to take a new role with the Cincinnati Bengals starting this offseason.
Before his time in Eugene working with the quarterbacks, Salkin spent some time at the NFL ranks working as a quality control coach with the Miami Dolphins. He also served as quarterbacks coach at New Mexico in 2020, and was part of the Texas Longhorns staff from 2017-2019 that featured Oregon OC Will Stein and TE coach Drew Mehringer.
According to the report from Thamel, Salkin will be an offensive assistant under Zac Taylor with the Bengals.
