The Golden State Warriors have ripped off a trio of consecutive wins without a pair of All-Star caliber players. Steph Curry (leg) and Andrew Wiggins (personal reasons) have missed extended time as the Warriors start the final stretch of the season.
However, Golden State’s reigning NBA Finals Most Valuable Player could be trending toward a return to the court. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, there’s optimism Curry will return sometime during the Warriors’ upcoming three-game road trip.

Curry injured his lower left leg in early February against the Dallas Mavericks. The sharpshooting guard suffered partial tears in his leg along with a contusion. Curry has missed nine consecutive games and counting.
Curry’s was re-evaluated last week. The Warriors announced Curry is making good progress and has returned to individual shooting work at practice. He’s slated to be re-evaluated again.
During the 2022-23 campaign, Curry is averaging 29.4 points on 49.5% shooting from the field and 42.7% from beyond the arc to go along with 6.4 assists and 6.3 boards in 34.6 minutes per contest.
The Warriors play two more games on their current homestand before beginning a three-game road swing with a game on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
