Good news on the Odell Beckham Jr. front: the Cleveland Browns wide receiver tested negative for COVID-19 a day after being sent home from practice for an undisclosed illness.
Numerous reports on Friday morning indicate the entire Browns team was tested and all the tests were confirmed negative. That includes Beckham.
Speculation about Beckham’s condition accelerated earlier on Friday when the Indianapolis Colts — who the Browns beat 32-23 on Sunday — closed their team facilities due to a COVID-19 outbreak on the team. Beckham’s negative test should quell any of that speculation.
The Browns will release a final injury report following Friday’s practice sessions.
