To continue a busy trade deadline, the Orlando Magic will reportedly send forward Aaron Gordon to the Denver Nuggets in a package that includes first-round pick R.J. Hampton.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Nuggets will trade veteran Gary Harris, Hampton and a first-round pick to the Magic for Gordon. The pick is not yet known, but the Nuggets still have their 2021 and 2022 picks available.
Prior to trading Gordon, the Magic also sent All-Star Nikola Vucevic to the Chicago Bulls for Wendell Carter Jr., Otto Porter Jr. and a first-round pick. In another move, the team traded Evan Fournier to the Boston Celtics for two second-round picks.

Of course, news broke on Monday that Gordon formally requested a trade from the Magic after growing frustration with losses and injuries in recent years. He reportedly wanted to join a contender, with the Nuggets among the teams that showed interest in him.
Gordon, who has one more year left on his contract, is averaging 14.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists on a career-high 37.5% shooting from 3-point range this season. He was viewed as a hot commodity on the trade market and will provide the Nuggets with an added scoring punch.
On Wednesday night, a report surfaced that indicated the Nuggets were thought to be the frontrunner to land Gordon but would need to part with Hampton, Zeke Nnaji or Bol Bol in a potential deal. Now, Hampton will move to Orlando.
Hampton played sparingly with the Nuggets this season, logging only 9.3 minutes in 25 games. With the Magic now in a full-blown rebuild, Hampton will have the opportunity to log heavy minutes and continue his development in Orlando.
