REPORT: No new positive tests for the Raiders on Friday

After starting right tackle Trent Brown tested positive for COVID-19 earlier in the week, the Raiders were forced to quarantine their five starting offensive linemen and starting safety Johnathan Abram after they had close contact with Brown.

There were some concerns that the game might be postponed on canceled altogether and that is why the NFL moved the game off of Sunday Night Football and into the 4:05 p.m. E.T. time slot.

However, it appears the game is still set to be played on Sunday afternoon as the Raiders had no new positive tests on Friday. While the status of the offensive line is still in question, it appears things are trending in the right direction,, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

As we have learned this season, this will continue to be a story before, during, and after the game. But if the Raiders can have another round of negative tests on Saturday, the game should go on against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7. We will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
