There is a report Wednesday the NFL owners will vote to move the Super Bowl in 2024 out of New Orleans and award it to the Big Easy the following year.

The problem is the Super Bowl in 2024 would conflict with Mardi Gras once the NFL moves to a 17-game schedule. This issue has been a concern since the lead decided to expand the regular-season slate.
And there is only partying an area can handle, even New Orleans.
