George Pickens cannot seem to catch a break. From fumbling the game away in Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts to mishandling media responsibilities to pulling on the face mask of a Dallas Cowboys player following the Week 5 loss, the Pittsburgh Steelers wideout’s season isn’t what many thought it would be.
The drama continues, however, as Brooke Pryor of ESPN reported that the NFL is reviewing Pickens’ inappropriate use of eye black in Week 5. Pryor adds that the NFL is specifically focusing on a “potential fine over violation of the league’s uniform policy.”
Pickens had a profane message on his eye black: “Open F—— Always.”
Mike Tomlin was asked by Pryor about the eye black on Tuesday, and Tomlin claimed to know nothing about the message.
Asked about George Pickens' effort and the message on his eyeblack, Tomlin said:
"I don't know what messaging you're talking about regarding his eye black. I didn't have any outlying issue with his effort."

Pickens’ antics seem to be spiraling, and if he hopes to remain on the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tomlin will need to straighten him out fast.
