The Brooklyn Nets pulled off the biggest trade of the season in the wee hours of the morning on Thursday, sending Kevin Durant to the Phoenix Suns for a big package centered around Mikal Bridges. The idea appears to be that the Nets will hit the reset button with Bridges being the guy to focus on in Brooklyn.
Along with Bridges, the Nets also received Cam Johnson, a slew of draft picks, and veteran Jae Crowder. While Bridges and Johnson are expected to be big pieces of what the Nets want to do moving forward, it appears Crowder is not.
With the trade deadline set for 3 p.m. EST, the Nets are expected to explore more trade possibilities for Crowder.
The Nets are expected to explore trade scenarios for Jae Crowder ahead of today's 3 PM ET deadline, sources tell ESPN.

Crowder, along with Bridges, were starters for the Suns when they reached the NBA finals in 2021. Crowder hasn’t played in the 2022-23 season as he continues to try and find the right fit for himself.
