All signs are continuing to point to the NBA’s return this summer at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, but the players have said for months now that they hope to have a month of training before they are asked to play in high stakes games with playoffs and championships on the line. It appears that the NBA is trying to accommodate their players in that request, as everything else will be very unusual.
ESPN’s duo of Zach Lowe and Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Wednesday, a day that has featured a cascade of reports about the NBA’s potential return, that the NBA’s teams are expecting guidelines from the league on having players who have left their team’s markets to return.

LeBron James and his family have stayed in Los Angeles since the virus shut down the league back on March 11, but several other players have left their home markets in favor of their actual homes. In some cases, like Mavericks star Luka Doncic, he returned to his home of Slovenia.
