One of the Big Ten’s biggest rivalries could be played in primetime for only the second time ever this upcoming season.
Detroit Sports Nation is reporting that the Michigan-Michigan State rivalry matchup is “expected” to be played at night this year. The site states nothing has been made official yet but there is definitely a possibility — maybe even a likely possibility — that we’ll see this game played under the lights.
The Spartans and Wolverines’ rivalry matchup is scheduled for Oct. 29 and will be played at Michigan Stadium this year. These two teams have only played one other night game before — back in 2017 when Michigan State knocked off the Wolverines in the Big House.
