Report: Minority owners in Washington unsuccessfully urged Snyder to sell stake in team

Just before three minority owners in Washington announced that they wanted out, they reportedly urged Snyder to sell his share of the team.

A new report is surfacing that Dan Snyder was urged by the minority owners in Washington sell his share of the team this offseason, without success.

According to Thom Loverro, a reporter at The Washington Times, Snyder wouldn’t budge on this request, which led the minority owners to announce they are looking to sell their shares, as was reported last week. With the drama in Washington centering the name debate at the moment, and what the team will rebrand as in the near future, a lot of eyes are turning toward Snyder to see where things are headed from here.
