Something strange is happening. What is it? Fred Smith led an effort to try to get Dan Snyder to sell the majority ownership of #Redskins to him and other investors, sources told me today. Snyder wouldn't budge. Now Smith and investors want out.

A new report is surfacing that Dan Snyder was urged by the minority owners in Washington sell his share of the team this offseason, without success.
According to Thom Loverro, a reporter at The Washington Times, Snyder wouldn’t budge on this request, which led the minority owners to announce they are looking to sell their shares, as was reported last week. With the drama in Washington centering the name debate at the moment, and what the team will rebrand as in the near future, a lot of eyes are turning toward Snyder to see where things are headed from here.
