With the dead period ending in the transfer portal world, the Oregon Ducks are back to recruiting at a high level as they look to improve their roster going into the 2024 season.
While the Ducks hosted former Texas A&M wide receiver Evan Stewart — the No. 2 overall player in the transfer portal — for an official visit over the weekend, there are reports now coming out that they are expected to hold Liberty Flames receiver CJ Daniels on a visit this coming week as well.
The Ducks got a good look at Daniels last week in the Fiesta Bowl, where the Liberty WR hauled in 8 catches for 79 yards. On the season, Daniels had 55 catches for 1,067 yards and 10 touchdowns. 2023 was by far Daniels’ best season, but the 6-foot-1, 195-pound receiver has 106 catches for 1,956 yards and 21 touchdowns in his four-year career.
Transfers DL Jamaree Caldwell of Houston and WR CJ Daniels of Liberty both expected to be in Austin on Sunday. Caldwell also visiting Oregon. Daniels expected to visit Oregon and Auburn, too. #HookEm

Going forward, Daniels has two years of eligibility remaining.
