With an abnormal draft combine and LaMelo Ball taking only a brief part in the largely virtual combine this year, the typically accessible prospect measurements have been hard to come by this year. In fact, it’s unclear if or to what degree Ball was measured in the combine or his individual workouts prior to the draft.
However, a recent report from NBADraft.net suggests that Ball may have had at least some measurements.
LaMelo Ball supposedly measured 6-6 in shoes with a 6-6 wingspan. Not undersized by any means. But smaller than once thought.

The measurements are far from official but are close enough to the suspected actual measurements of Ball that it could be believed. LaMelo is roughly the same height as Lonzo Ball, who was officially listed at 6’6″ on the Pelicans roster last season.
Even if this is on the lower end of the spectrum for what most considered his height and wingspan to be, it’s still above average at his position of point guard. And at 19 years old, he could still yet be growing.
That being said, this appears to be the only place that has reported any measurements for Ball. It should come with some grains of salt and only be taken lightly for now.
