Kyle Allen has an MRI scheduled, but he may not even need surgery. The fracture is just a small bone chip, so he dodged a bullet. But the MRI will determine all. From his agent 👇🏽 https://t.co/0fUSAzet5i

It was a scary scene on Sunday afternoon when Washington quarterback Kyle Allen was sacked and suffered a gruesome leg injury, apparently dislocating his ankle in the process. Allen was eventually carted off the field with an air cast, and an X-Ray showed that he had a small fracture in his foot.
According to reports, Allen has dodged quite a bullet, with the dislocation being better than the injury looked on the turf. Allen is still going to miss the 2020 season, but his agent says that he is in good spirits and already planning his comeback to the football field.
In his stead, Alex Smith has been playing QB, and despite a slow start, he’s played well in the second half, getting Washington back into the game against the Giants.
